G.P. Support Training Associates designs and provides service management training for general practice within PCT approved sessions and courses at training centres.

We also provide training on site at G.P. Surgeries.

In addition we have run approved sessions for doctors at postgraduate centres.

The business is owned by Alan Barker who worked in the NHS for 25 years and held a number of management posts in the administration of G.P. Services. He also has experience of practice management and for some years worked with further education colleges as a member of the teaching teams providing AMSPAR Certificate and Diploma courses in practice administration.

There are currently associate tutors  able to deliver training on specialised subjects.

Our training services are purpose designed to support busy practice managers and are wholly and directly relevant to the work of practice staff.

The emphasis is on value for money.
